If more clusters occur due to the avalanche, they will also be removed, with avalanches continuing to occur unti no new clusters are formed on the grid.
Wild Symbols
Wilds can appear anywhere on the reels and will substitute for all other symbols in order to form or extend cluster combinations.
Crystal Charge
Symbols that form clusters will fill a meter to the side of the grid when removed from the playtable. After 20 symbols are collected, the Crystal Charge feature is triggered, providing a random bonus from 4 available modifiers, which are as follows:
- Nova Blast - One symbol explodes, destroying and transforming adjacent symbols.
- Crystal Warp - One symbol is targeted, and all matching symbols are warped into other symbols.
- Light Beam - One symbol shoots out light beams; symbols that are hit transform into other symbols.
- Chain Lightning - Two corner symbols are connected with chain lightning; all symbols that are hit transform into one of the corner symbols.
All clusters that are formed after 40 or more symbols have been collected are multiplied by 3x, as the round becomes supercharged.
World Pattern
There are 3 distinct backgrounds in Gemix, with the starting world being chosen at random. Each world is home to a different character who provides unique bonuses, and players can travel between worlds by clearing symbols in predetermined patterns on the grid.
World Wilds
As we have mentioned, each world has a unique character associated with it that can provide bonuses. On each spin, which leads to no clusters, there is a random chance that the character's world wild feature is triggered. The corresponding bonus associated with each character is as follows:
- Miner - Up to 10 wilds can appear on the reels.
- Princess - Wilds can spread from edge to edge.
